Sampleford Community Centre Expansion — Phase 2 (Sample)

The City of Sampleford invites tenders for the Phase 2 expansion of the Sampleford Community Centre. SCOPE OF WORK The work comprises a 1,850 m2 single-storey addition to the existing community centre, including: - Cast-in-place concrete foundations and slab-on-grade - Structural steel frame with glulam feature roof over the multipurpose hall - Building envelope: insulated metal panel, curtain wall glazing, SBS roofing - Full mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, controls) and electrical fit-out - Interior finishes throughout, incl. gymnasium sport flooring and acoustic treatment - Sitework: 42-stall parking expansion, landscaping, storm management The facility remains OPEN to the public during construction. Work adjacent to occupied areas must follow the phasing plan in Section 01 14 00. MANDATORY SITE MEETING A mandatory pre-tender site meeting will be held on-site 10 days before closing at 10:00 AM local time. Bidders who do not attend will be disqualified. BONDING & SECURITY - Bid bond: 10% of tender price - Consent of surety for 50% performance and 50% labour & material payment bonds The City reserves the right to reject any or all tenders and the lowest tender will not necessarily be accepted.
