Industry Sustainment Business Case Analysis (SBCA) Workshops: NEW WORKSHOP DATE - TBD Purpose: The purpose of this notice is to invite industry representatives working in defence sustainment to participate in an upcoming online Industry Sustainment Business Case Analysis (SBCA) Workshop. The date for this workshop is to be determined (TBD) and will be communicated via this RFI once confirmed. This workshop will assist industry in understanding Defence Materiel Sustainment (formerly: the Sustainment Initiative) and its strategic context, the SBCA process, industry’s role in supporting the SBCA process, and gaining insight into how materiel sustainment and SBCA may affect the delivery of sustainment solutions for military equipment. Schedule: Dates Time To Be Determined (TBD), 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (EDT) Please note: The workship date has not yet been finalized. Details will be communicated once confirmed. What is a SBCA: The SBCA is a rigorous analytical process that guides sustainment teams in developing flexible, scalable, and principles-based sustainment solutions. The analysis framework of SBCA relies on a whole-of-government approach with early industry engagement. It results in both improved decision making, and the development of integrated sustainment solutions that are optimized based on the four principles of sustainment: performance, value for money, flexibility, and socio-economic
